The Parallel between Guns and Deficits

Is there a correlation between strict gun control laws and budget deficits? I think so…

I was reading an article on about NY states $7 billion budget deficit.  It mentioned that NY was the 4th largest deficit nationwide.  I found the list of the other top state’s facing budget deficits quite interesting.

“California, the state in the most peril, must contend with a $14.4 billion gap, while Illinois faces a $12.8 billion deficit and New Jersey an $8 billion hole.”

Wait… isn’t that practically a list of the most stringent gun control states?

Perhaps there is a correlation between liberty versus control.
