Why magazine bans are a failed proposition…

The truth is, that the means to ban high capacity magazines is minimal.  Technology that is on the cusp of arrival, namely 3D printing, essentially will allow ANYONE to print off high capacity magazines. Realize the success that has already been achieved by this technology (which is still in it’s infancy).

Defense Distributed, recently printed a 30 round magazine for the AR platform. They loaded and successfully fired 86 rounds from the device.

The Defense Distributed design is available at its website, Defcad.org.

Whether you agree with a ban or not, the future will make it unenforceable.
